Hello, I’m Shirelle.

I’m the florist and grower behind Flora in the Wild—a creative floral studio by the sea in Maketū, Bay of Plenty.

Here, flowers are gathered with the seasons, arranged naturally, and wrapped with care. Inspired by wild gardens, the coastline, and the beauty found in everyday life, I create bouquets that feel nostalgic, a little untamed, and full of heart.

I believe flowers aren’t just for life’s biggest celebrations. They’re for slow mornings, kitchen tables, thoughtful gestures, and the ordinary moments that quietly become the ones we remember.

When I’m not arranging flowers, you’ll usually find me tending the garden, wandering the beach, or spending time with my three girls.
